Like a zombie from a horror movie, Dan Ramos won't go away.
Ramos, apparently ousted as chairman of the Bexar County Democratic Party in May after he capped off a soufflé of general craziness with a topping of homophobia, continues to insist that he's the head of the local party — and the Secretary of State's office hasn't done much to disabuse him of that notion.
So Ramos, who compared homosexuals to insects in his most notorious utterance, has been proceeding with plans to run the party's primary next March. In a letter two weeks ago to Bexar County Election Administrator Jacque Callanen, he tried to designate someone to run the election.
